Reports: Chelsea FC are now in a very much advanced talks in a bid to sign one of the hottest wonderkid in Europe ahead January transfer window

Benjamin Sesko is poised to join another Red Bull entity, RB Leipzig, next summer for a fee of nearly £55m. But Man United and Chelsea are keeping a tab on Slovenia international’s movement and could be tempted into a move sooner than expected.

Benjamin already has had adequate auditions to impress his suitors, and the striker has been likened to former RB Salzburg centre-forward Erling Haaland. Haaland has had an impressive start to life in the PL, and Sesko is expected to follow his path.

However, the 19-year-old striker’s imminent departure to Germany next summer could complicate things for Man United and Chelsea. The Blues parted ways with Lukaku and Werner in the summer transfer window, although the Belgian striker might return to Chelsea after playing for Inter Milan on loan this campaign.

Nonetheless, the Blues invested in a centre-forward by signing Aubameyang, who might only be a short-term solution for Chelsea. New coach Graham Potter got a look at the Slovenian striker when the footballer tormented the Blues in the UCL game at Chelsea, which happened to be the new manager’s first match at the helm.

At 6 ft 5 in, the Slovenian is built to sustain the rugged nature of the PL, and his desire to win battles has been an integral part of his stature. Any team that looks to invest in the footballer would be getting a gem as he does have the quality to exceed Erling Haaland’s quality.
