Fabrizio Romano reveals latest on Kante and Jorginho contracts stiuation at Chelsea FC
Blues fans will be more than aware by now of the current situation bubbling up at the club.
It’s a situation that mirrors last season, where we saw both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen end up leaving as free agents.
This season, the same thing looks like it could happen with both N’Golo Kante and Jorginho in midfield.
The situation is rather up in the air right now and despite there being some discussions, it looks like Chelsea will be holding firm on the offers they are prepared to make to both players. At the moment, both players will not be happy with the current terms being offered, as reported by the reliable Matt Law from The Telegraph today.
He’s been speaking on the London is Blue Podcast today, as reported below.
He believes that neither player really looks highly likely to extend at the moment, and both will be receiving offers from other clubs.
"Only way he (N'Golo Kante) gets close to what he wants (length and value) would be to accept some sort of heavily incentivised deal. I don't think Chelsea will make a huge straight offer. They'll make offers, but it'll be incentivised."
