Reports: Chelsea has made contact with club ahead January transfer window to secure the signature of phonomenal midfield mastero

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has reportedly made contact to sign Jude Bellingham from Dortmund, in a bid to get ahead of competition in the summer.

The new Blues owners are seemingly deadly serious about landing Bellingham in the summer and are prepared to do all they can to get him signed up.

According to BILD, as cited by The Metro, this includes contacting Bellingham’s father and agent to speak about the move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are named as one of the four ‘serious’ contenders to sign Bellingham along with Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid.

It is also claimed that Chelsea could be willing to meet Dortmund’s stunning valuation for Bellingham if it means they are able to bring him to west London next summer.

This would be a major coup for Chelsea, but of course, Blues fans have heard this all before with Erling Haaland, and will not get excited yet!
