Reports have claimed that Todd Boehly is keen on signing Juventus centre-forward Dusan Vlahovic next year as well as Christopher Nkunku. The London giants owner is keen to bring in a replacement for Lukaku and Werner, with the duo both joining former sides during the summer.
While Lukaku is only away on loan at the moment with Inter Milan, it is expected he will push again for a return to Inter Milan due to his torrid spell back in the PL. Werner was far more loved than Lukaku, with him being a crucial part of the Blues’ Champions League victory last year.
However, a reported difference of opinion between the German and his countryman Tuchel saw the former coach sanction his departure from the club. Todd Boehly is looking to Serie A for his replacement for the two expensive stars, with him considering making a move for Serbia international.
Vlahovic has been of interest to PL teams before, with the report going on to say that the Gunners still hold a desire to add him, despite currently having Gabriel Jesus leading the line. The Bianconeri signed Dusan for nearly £66m, although their drop in form as a team has led to him not having the career lift-off he will have hoped for.
Chelsea are already in advanced talks to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig, with them holding a medical for the French attacker over the summer after it became clear they wouldn’t be able to sign him during this window.
