Chelsea are looking to try and strike a deal to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica.
The Argentinian international had an outstanding World Cup and he has become one of the most sought after players around.

Chelsea have made moves to try and sign him in January, and there are even reports that they are willing to pay his large release clause.

Further to this, sources have told Si & Dan Talk Chelsea that new technical director Christopher Vivell has been personally working on the deal himself, trying to work out how to get the player to Stamford Bridge in next months window.
It would be a massive statement signing from the new owners, who want to revamp the midfield over the next couple of windows to the wishes of manager Graham Potter.
