Just in : He is simply the best in the world in his position and Chelsea FC has gotten one of the most creative wizard winger in the world says premier League legend
Joe Cole has explained he’s really excited about the future of Mykhailo Mudryk in Chelsea colours.
Mudryk, who’s just 22, was one of the high-profile signings made by the Blues in the January transfer window.
The Ukrainian youngster has arrived at Stamford Bridge for his first taste of Premier League football and doesn’t have a lot of experience behind him.
He’s an eye-catching winger that dazzled for a brief spell at Shakhtar Donetsk, which was enough to convince Chelsea to splash the cash for him last month. Mudryk has joined on a £62million deal that could end up costing £89million with bonuses (BBC).
Joe Cole sounds fairly confident that Chelsea’s new No.15 will end up being a big hit in west London,
When discussing Mudryk, Cole told BT Sport: “He’s going to be a top player for Chelsea. He looks a fantastic final third player who can beat a man, excite the crowd and has great feet.
“He reminds me of Arjen Robben in the way he drives past players in short bursts and makes the right decisions in the final third. I think he’s going to get better and better so Chelsea have got him at the right time.
“He just needs to settle. It’s a big jump coming from Ukraine to the Premier League so they’ll need to give him some time but I’m really excited about him once he learns to play under Potter.”
Mudryk had an electric start to his Chelsea career with a very lively cameo against Liverpool. This was followed up by a fairly quiet 45 minute performance against Fulham last week, but he was struggling with a “heavy cold”.
Hopefully, the left-winger is feeling fit and ready to impress in this Saturday’s Premier League fixture away to West Ham.
Cole isn’t the first person to tip Mudryk for big things in a Chelsea shirt, with Danny Murphy recently backing him to become a “superstar” in the future.
It looks like he’s got the pace, trickery and directness to offer so much to the Blues attack.
