Reports : ‘I would get him at any cost he is the real deal and the missing Talent in the team, Chelsea legend tells Chelsea FC to go and sign £133m superstar at end of the season

Pat Nevin has told Chelsea to go out and sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen at the end of the season in his column for the Mail Online.

The Nigerian has been tearing it up in Serie A this season as his side begin to run away with the Italian league.

They sit 15 points clear at the top, with the 24-year-old scoring 18 goals in 19 games.

His form has obviously seen him linked with a move to one of the World’s biggest sides, with Chelsea not exempt from that list.

It has previously been claimed that it is going to take a fee of around £133m to prize Osimhen from his side.

However, Nevin has claimed it would be the signing he would make if he was in charge.

Nevin tells Chelsea to sign Osimhen
He said: “But it’s Chelsea. It’s the Premier League. The fans are getting fed up. The ownership are under pressure.

“You don’t have a lot of time and the negatives are you’re halfway down the table and not scoring enough goals.

“Everybody knows they need somebody to put the ball in the net. That would help a wee bit.

“They could go out and sign a striker, but Chelsea’s history of buying strikers at the wrong end of their career is extraordinary.

“They want somebody at the right end of their career who can become like Didier Drogba. I would get Victor Osimhen from Napoli if it was up to me.”

Goals have been an issue pretty much ever since Graham Potter took charge of the club. Despite all the signings made, a goalscorer is still not evident at Stamford Bridge.

While Osimhen would be a dream addition for many, it is unlikely the owners will break the club’s transfer record for the second window in a row.
